Extremely quick tech session ASAP

I am in the middle of my tranny swap. I have everything disconnected, exhaust off, underbraces off, and all the bolts are off the tranny. I just need someone to help lift the tranny off, and remount the new tranny. The tranny weights about 150 lbs. and the car is on jack stands so I do not want to attempt to get it out by myself for fear of crushing my head. If anyone has an hour or so any night this week, please let me know. I am down until I get this accomplished.

TIA!

Can't do anything tonight, but I should be available tomorrow. I'll bring an extra floor jack.

Ive got a tranny jack in the garage you could borrow bro. That way you could do it yourself. Just gotta bring by a truck or car with a big trunk to transport it. If I remember correctly, I live like maybe 2 minutes at most from Roneski's house.

I have an 05 Pathfinder, would that be enough room if I drop both rows of back seats? If so, I'll come get it tonight!

I'm workin 3-11 tonight out at the Eldorado Casino in Hendertucky. If you wanna come pick it up at around midnight I could do that, or I'm off all day tomorrow. If you live really close and can get here by like 2:15 before I leave for work that would be fine also.

Yea it will fit in the pathfinder.

if someone on the North side can help him (l2r) out tonight for about an hour, he'll let you look at his wife's boobies.

If you can, that would be great.... beer?

I have the tranny under the car completely off. Robs jacks are too short compared to mine, so I am going to Sears right after work to pick up two more. My plan is to lift the car about another 6 inches (my stands will go this high), take the tranny off the tranny jack and put it on a floor jack and stand, drain fluid (forgot and hopefully will be done before you come over), then lower the jack and roll it off and out from under the car. Then once I swap the clutch, slide the new tranny under the car and some how put it back up on the tranny jack and install.

Should take about a 6 pack or so (translates to 2-3 hours)

Got the tranny out from under the car! YAY!

There is sooo little room to work with under there that I basically had to lower the tranny 1 inch at a time. When I was as low as the jack could go, I used the jack handle as a makeshift lever-lift, and when it was about 1 inch off the ground I just rolled it off. This has been a time consuming yet rewarding project. I have a total of about 4 hours into it, and that includes the removal off all the exhaust and crossbracing. There is about 15 other pieces you have to remove from the tranny like sensors, starter, and clutch piston.

Hence why I am only working on it 2 hours at a time

The jack worked great for puuling it off the engine, but one I got it down, I had no place to go. The jack is HUGE. Ita going to be perfect for remounting too because its gonna be fun trying to get it to align.

I am rollin again

I had a few small issues, but I completed everything on Sunday. I am trying to find a new place to put my boost sensor because I somewhat ripped it out of the plenum.

I really appreciate you letting me use your tranny jack, it saved me a lot of time. I will be bringing it back over anytime you want, just give me a call when you get off work so I know your home.
