Friday Night Race Meet

Figured I would make a new thread for the list of people coming out to dinner and the races on friday.

Mikes ings kit looks kinda similar to my JP, I am actually surious to see the similarity in person. Good thing your silverstone mike, lol.

oh, I thought he was getting the JP kit too. Yeah, the Ings is pretty dope looking too. I really only like the JP kits and the Ings kit. I'm looking at getting the JP Type-N kit, but I want to get wheels first.

Wheels are going on first and I'm getting Advan RS's in gunmetal. 19X9 and 19X10's. So it will be awhile until I save up enough for the kit/paint/install. I'm getting a hook-up on the wheels, so that helps out alot. Still is going to run me around $3,000 for the wheels and tires. I gotta live up to my user name, ya know! hahaha In the meantime, I'm working on my stereo install as I have 95% of that already in the house.

I have to change my status tonight to 50% sure....something has come up which I might not be able to get away from, but I will try. If for somet reason I cant make it I apologize. Hope to be there.

Time for the best times of the night. who got what??? My best was a 10.7 @132. BTW where were the others , only 3 droped by Poppa's

Okay, 1st time with the Z at the track. Did fairly crappy at my launches and had trouble getting 4th gear on two of my runs.

This is my best run of 3.

RT: 0.771 (was taking a nap)
60': 2.397
330: 6.226
1/8: 9.189
mph: 84.03
1000: 11.676
1/4: 13.768
mph: 107.72

I was satisfied with the trap speed (considering the DA). I think if I pull my head out of my **** and learn how to launch properly, then very low 13's are definately possible. In my defense though; the track prep really sucked. The idiots were spraying water across the entire lane, so no way to go around the waterbox without getting tires wet.
