Mike I need a favor!!!
Okay so I'm doing my brakes tomorrow and I can't friggin find my tech manual that I got off of Motoring so long ago. I'm wondering if you can do a quick break down of what I need to remove on the caliper tomorrow to put the brake pads in and if there is anything special I need to do after the pads are installed. From what I can tell it's two cotter pins that get pulled and then two retaining pins are removed from the caliper? Then the caliper slides out and you remove the old pad and slap in the new one?! I'm lost....if anyone has that tech manual (mine was in .pdf format when I got it) they could give me sometime I would greatly appreciate it....I think I might have had it on my old computer when I sold it.

Its even easier than that. Heres the steps for changing the pads on the Brembos...
1) Remove cotter pins
2) Remove retaining pins
3) Pull pads out from top
4) Transfer heat shields from old pads to new ones
5) Reverse directions.
You don't need to remove the caliper to change the pads. Don't you love Brembos! It seriously takes 10 minuts to do all 4 once the wheels are off. I use the handle of some needle nose pliers to depress the brake pistons if needed. Don't forget to pump the brakes pedal a few times after you change them to get the pedal stiff again. Bleeding the brakes isn't a bad idea either. Call me if you have any questions.
