MREV2 5/16" spacer

Anyone interesting in getting into a local group buy for the motordyne mrev2 and plenum spacer?

http://www.motordyneengineering.com/350Z.asp

Let me know, thanks

I'm really looking to get a whole new aftermarket plenum, rather than a spacer. But if the price is right, i'd be down for it.

Motordyne is the way to go IMO. Just as good as an entirely different plenum and Tony (owner) is good people.

yea tony told me to contact him once I get 5+ shipped to the same address..
he can't do online group buys directly since he has vendors now..
the MREV2 and 5/16" plenum spacer combo has some significant whp/tq gains(15+ tq gain on a revup) as you can see on their site or search threads on my350z for independant dynos:
http://tinyurl.com/jzpmy

if I can get the combo for < $600 I'm all over it

Yep. That and the Iso Thermal gaskets. I did it for Tony a few months back.

If Motordyne sends it to APO, I'm in. If not, will someone send it to me? I'll PayPal whoever for the cost.

VegassaeZ - both
i8acobra - mrev2 only
702Fairlady - both
clearsector - both
ensmuns - plenum spacer (probably need copper because it gets pretty cold here)

All the units will be shipped to one address.(which will probably be my house or office)
We can arrange pick up or additional shipping afterwards.

OK I have an 04. I'm pretty sure I dont have the revup engine. So does that mean I get $122 back on this deal when I send them back my stock lower collector?

According to the site, yes. But I will still ask Tony prior to ordering just to make sure.

hey Mike, you've dealt with Tony before.. you think you might be able to talk him into hooking up a stellar deal?

That would be hella nice if I could get back another $122 on the deal. Would go towards my intake and exhaust.

Sweet. I can't arrange a pick up since I'm stationed in Germany. Shipping via USPS only, though it shouldn't be too expensive at all. Let us know when the time comes to make the purchase!

The copper thermal stuff blocks heat from reaching the plenum, thats why I got it. After a session at the track after putting the copper stuff on, my OEM plenum is still cool enough to keep my hand on. Cooler air temps = better power and less chance of detonation.

And being in Vegas, heat is our number one enemy. Copper Thermal definitely sounds like the way to go.

The copper is better in colder climates as it is a good conductor of heat. Notice that high dollar cooking pots are made from copper. The ISO Thermal (3rd and 4th ones down on the webpage) is the best spacer for Vegas.

Here's what it says on the bottom of the page for the Copper Iso Upgrade:

"Compatible with any type of plenum stock or modified and compatible with any type of weather hot or cold. Copper Iso Thermal also reduces heat transfer into the upper and lower plenum assembly, but the Copper Throttle Body Heater keeps the throttle body heated to prevent ice formation on the throttle body valve on very cold or snowy days."

looks to be end all be all
