Need help making a decision

Ok well SEMA is 2 weeks away and I really want to do something different with my Z for the show. SEMA is when everybody debuts something new and I wan't to take advantage of my car being in the show. This could be the only time my car gets to go to SEMA.

Since I don't have time to do anything crazy like get the car painted, I was thinking of just changing a few things and adding some color.

Right now my car is all silver, black, and carbon fiber. I am thinking of throwing some red in the mix. I would get some Volk Time Attack TE37s in flat black with the red ring around the edge, then swap the flat black AP calipers for some red ones. Then last, but not least, swap the black Corbeau harnesses for red ones as well and maybe throwing red somewhere in the decal design.

What do you guys think? Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, but I don't like graphics. The only decals I put on my car are sponsor logos.

This is 100% track car. I don't even have a radio anymore lol. Polished stuff really doesn't go with the look of the car either. I am going for more "agressive".

Current pics are all over www.SinCity350Z.com for those who don't know what my car looks like.

red tires?

just giving you ****...I think the red accents will look awesome. I would also do red CF accents on the dash and doors if you are going to do the harness. Should look real sweet!

Where do you get red CF accents? Besides SuiteEGrafix, they have too long of a turn-around time on their stuff. It wouldn't be here by SEMA.

CF A pillar(next to the mirrors) covers... REar CF strut bar cover, Samco hoses and Zeetoys samco hose locks...Varis CF Exhaust cover...

blacked out signalz and tails cf cannards add on to the stock bumper... repaint stock front bumper at least if too many rock chips...

on the gutted interior... custon organazie the cablin under the dash same way you see on cumpter cables... kinda hard to explain but basically somethign liek this
you get the idea...

a few more gauges never hurt anybody... on the interior put back the stock driver and apsser pillars..

do what you metioend on the seats with the harness

more CF on the roof of your car
get a lip kti again.. at least intenses lip kit

IIQuickSilverII - Good ideas, but can't use most of them...

CF A-Pillar - I don't want any stick on carbon fiber. Can't have it flying off on the track.

Rear CF Strut bar cover - That would look REALLY awkward without the rest of the strut bar plastic.

Samco hoses - Already have black ones, don't really like colored hoses anyways.

Varis CF Exhaust Cover - I would do that if I had the rear bumper still. C-West N1 bumpers getting painted as we speak .

Blacked out signals - Will do on the rear, but front ones are gone with C-West bumper.

Blacked out tail lights - Not good for racing. May not pass some tech inspections.

Canards - On backorder from C-West, but wont be here until November.

Re-Painte bumper - C-West N1 bumper getting painted right now.

Custom organize the cabin - Don't get it...

A-Pillar gauges - Block line of vision on the track, plus, the A-Pillars would look really wierd without the headliner. Threw them away a long time ago anyways.

CF Roof Cover - Again, can't have that flying off on track.

Front lip - C-West N1 bumper.

USe em jsut for SEMA

+1

Samco hoses - Already have black ones, don't really like colored hoses anyways.
get the zeetoys ssamco hose locks, works only on samco hoses(a diff model for the stock ones)

Varis CF Exhaust Cover - I would do that if I had the rear bumper still. C-West N1 bumpers getting painted as we speak .
what exhaust you got?, time to go with something with ti tips(expensive yes but its an option considering you wont do whole car paint job.

Blacked out signals - Will do on the rear, but front ones are gone with C-West bumper.
nice man

Blacked out tail lights - Not good for racing. May not pass some tech inspections.
not entirely blacked out, there are a few designs out there, check overlays dude

Canards - On backorder from C-West, but wont be here until November.
any other options?, custom?

Re-Painte bumper - C-West N1 bumper getting painted right now.
nice dude

Custom organize the cabin - Don't get it...
loose cables under the dash... ecu cables... any cables you see after you took off all interior pieces basically.. power cables etc etc..

A-Pillar gauges - Block line of vision on the track, plus, the A-Pillars would look really wierd without the headliner. Threw them away a long time ago anyways.
any turbo electronics you ahve considered in the past that migth make good additions?

CF Roof Cover - Again, can't have that flying off on track.
that sucks.. woudl have been nice

Front lip - C-West N1 bumper.
very nice again

I don't really want to buy anything that I will just be using at the show. I want to change the look for 2007.

An electronic boost controller could be good....Just have to find some place to put it.

The wires in the car are all pretty tucked away already.

Any tint on the tail lights will probably not be allowed by groups like N.A.S.A., besides the red tails may help with the red accents.

Exhaust is SVRTech 3" and I love it so that will be staying. Besides, they are a sponsor.

Best interior shot I have...

Except now the dash is flat black instead of CF (Long story, but CF was messed up) and I have custom fiberglass gauge pods, and a passenger seat.

yes, I believe most aftermarket bumpers like my Aerosync have no pre-drilled holes for the stockl underpan. Something the bodyshop has to do. THis will fit with thos stock holes. Look at my350z.com vendor buys section, I may get one myself because mine is tore up.

the only thing about the ARC underpan that concerns me is the noise. i read once that someone had it and that anytime gravel got in there it rattled like it was rocks in a can. but i guess mike is pretty used to noisy at this point.

i love the red accents idea, gives it that "double down is out for blood" thing going, just in time for halloween.

Ray - I like your idea. Where can I buy one, and can it be shipped here by SEMA?

Rob - Good point, I am used to road noise, but a constant "rocks in a tin can" noise might be annoying and take away my focus on track. Hmmmm.....

Ok, what do you guys think...

Should I get the red inserts for my current seats and leave the harnesses black, or leave the seats all black and get the red harnesses...
