New Z commercial.

Its like a song that would appeal to a 4 year old kid ("...motor in my car goes bluua bluua..." wtf) ....not some adult who is looking for a performance automobile....I don't see the point in that ad...

The editing and the entire concep was very well executed. The song was meant to be in stark contrast of what the video was showing... uhhh maybe too much contrast.
I turned down the volume and imagined better songs playing over it. I think that Static-X's Push It was my favorite so far.

Better than that drunk #ss country music!! I mean come on, country and Z's don't mix. Rock and Metal, a preferred choice. I think Stupified by Distrurbed would do the commercial good, or Down with the sickness. Wa! Wa! Wa!

I found humor in the contrast of the great video and campy song.
FYI - the song is called "Car Car" and was written by Woody Guthrie. (Arlo's dad) I also remember hearing a version with slightly modified lyrics done by Peter, Paul and Mary.
Take me for a ride in your Car-Car
Take me for a ride in your Car-Car
Take me for a ride, Take me for a ride,
Take me for a ride in your Car-Car
(spoken and sound effects segment)
Take me for a ride in your Mac Truck
Take me for a ride in your truck, mack
Take me for a ride, take me for a ride,
Take me for a ride in your Mac Truck, Mack
(spoken and sound effects segment)
(Chorus)
(Spoken segment, with sound effects, then Mary sings...)
Take me for a ride in your car-car
Take me for a ride in your car-car
Take me for a ride, take me for a ride,
Take me for a ride in your 3.2 liter Ferrari
with torsion bar suspension
and those ported venturi carburetors!
I really like the last verse.
On a live version from an album years ago, there was also a verse about an Austin Healey. I alway had a special attraction to the song because I drove an Austin Healey way back then. (I would have rather had the 3.2 Liter Ferrari.)
