Anyone want to go and see Top fuel and funny car qualifying tonight? Unfortunately none of my regular hookups came through with tickets so we gotta pay.

Here's tonights schedule-

Friday, April 7

7 a.m. – Pit and spectator gates open.

8 a.m. – Sportsman qualifying and eliminations.

1 p.m. – Top Alcohol qualifying.

3 p.m. – Pro Stock qualifying.

3:30 p.m. – Funny Car and Top Fuel Dragster qualifying.

4:30 p.m. – Top Alcohol qualifying.

6 p.m. – Pro Stock qualifying.

6:30 p.m. – Funny Car and Top Fuel Dragster qualifying.

8 p.m. – Track closed.

 

Are you going tomorrow or sunday? Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to show up tonight until probably 6:30 or 7:00 at the earliest.

 

Not sure about Saturday or Sunday but if anyone wants to go I'll tag along. I just wanted to get out there tonight to see the top fuel and funny cars run when it's semi-dark out. I wanna see the lit candles in person.

 

So, how'd the pics come out? I'm sure the back of my head made a few.

 

Agh another weekend of working NHRA and putting up with a$$holes all weekend. Other than that the Thursday-Sunday was pretty good. I actually got sick on Thursday; I sit up on the starting line and got cooked which led to uncontrollable vomiting ! Right now I'm probably going to go to the hospital for some chest pains that I'm having on my left side when I breathe in and out (don't know if it was all that nitro-methane spraying in my face). For those of you who didn't get to make it and wanted to watch ESPN2 is playing it tonight (Final Eliminations) at 11:00 or midnight. You guys really didn't miss a whole lot though.

 

Seen you leaving sunday about 5:00, yelled at you ,but you must not have heard me.I had a great time Fri-Sun. Of course I guess I wasn't working,that probably makes a difference.

 

^^^Yeah I saw you drive by me in the parking lot. I was looking at your car and thinking "Hmmm....that Z looks familiar." It didn't dawn on me until after you had passed and were out on the road. Sorry, bro!
