I would like to leave Friday after work, but could probably get out earlier Friday. The return convoy home is still on for Saturday night, however I will not be able to leave until Sunday. From the meet, my car is going to VRT and I will be trailering the Chevelle back home from Huntington on Sunday. The Tri-State meet wont be until sometime in March or April...

I want to get an idea when we are driving out... because a few friends might come with me, then we're gunna go to disneyland.

So what will it be?
Friday- Drive out
Saturday- Performance Meet
Sunday- Disneyland/Drive Home

The meet is getting pretty close...any idea what time friday we are going to leave? Also, where is everyone staying? I am taking my wife, so I may stay in a hotel. There is an Embassy Suites about 5 miles away.

 

So whats the tally on whos still going and on what day? glenn's still kinda unsure yet, but most likely we'll make it tho. By thurs or fri will know for sure.

Anyone driving out early saturday? If so we'll be leaving around 3-4am ish. We do daytrips like that alot, so we'er used to it and we wont stay in a hotel unless our doggies come with us so...

 

I am on my own for this trip. I will be leaving Friday around 5:00pm and heading straight to VRT to install my new exhaust! I also have to trailer the Z since its staying down at VRT for that week and I have to trailer back my Chevelle on Sunday. I was really looking forward to participating in the group drive too

 

were out. Things just didnt work out for us and we have zero time for this.

As of right now.. I am unsure. I have ordered a new 06 Suzuki GSXR bike.. I am supposed to be picking it up on saturday, but they are not 100% when exactly it will be in. So if they take forever there is a chance I may just cancel it and go for the trip... Who knows?

 

Cancel it Aarif. Bikes are too dangerous in Vegas. Buy stuff for your Z instead.

 

Not to be a d*ck or anything, but I agree. I've seen/heard of too many accidents out here involving motorcycles (any types). And since you head out to the Strip area often, it's insane how anyone can drive out there at all.

Besides, the $$$ you spent on the bike can get your trunk lid fixed, get the car lowered, and maybe even an F/I system of some sort!

Yep, in high school one of my friends lost his leg in a motorcycle accident and then one of the guys I used to race BMX with got killed on a motorcycle. Oh, and then a friend of a friend died on one as well. All of those accidents were caused by someone else's bad driving, and all were in Vegas. I had a close call myself on a bike going down the 215.

 

Ok well, since Ive been getting so many negative responces about my bike. (only from you guys but many other friends as well)... I think I may just go and get a quad. Is that better?? lol
