Service engine soon
WTF?!?!? I got a SES light on the way from the gym today. Any ideas? I disconnected the battery when I got home..we'll see if that does anything.

they still have to prove the mods caused the problem. all i have ever seen the z ses light for was a loose gas cap or thottle chambers. so if it isnt having problems accelerating, then its probably a gas cap. if that doesnt fix it, you may want to schedule an appointment with ed at desert.

I reconnected the battery today and drove it around for about an hour and no SES light came on, so I will keep my fingers crossed that it was just a hicup in the system. Thanks all!

I just got the SES light come on in mine too. I got it checked at AutoZone and they came back with a P2135 code, the throttle position sensor is off. I have an appt with desert nissan this Tuesday. Anyone else get this?
When I first started the car, there was no throttle response and the service engine soon along with the slip light remained on. After shutting it off, the SES light remained on. I am guessing that they will replace the throttle body under warranty.
My first experience with nissan service. Hope it's not a nightmare!
Oh yeah, I had a CAI, took it off and put on the stock air box just in case :O

You shouldn't even have to mess with the TB if you're installing an intake. So I'm going to raise the BS flag on the service writer because Nismo has a similar system and if you install it, it's still considered as "aftermarket" even though it's a warrantied item from Nissan.
