Sport Compact Car Project Miata Stolen in Vegas
**The guy was in town for the PCA Track event. If you hear anything, post it or call Matt directly.**
Hi guys-
This car had a Miata AEM which is pretty rare, and a FM2 kit with a T25 and 550cc injectors (kind of a weird or rarer combo)
I don't have a lot of faith in finding anything, but if you would keep an eye out, I'd appreciate it. I was in Vegas for a PCA track event this weekend, and my miata was stolen from the Luxor parking deck. This happened early sunday morning. If you see anyone trying to sell parts that look familair, please drop me a line. Many parts on this car are one of a kind, and no one else could have had them, or very few people did.
It is (was) a 95 montego blue with a black top with 1 black leather seat, and a buddy club race bucket.
As far as exterior mods, it had a :
1. Axis carbon trunk lid custom reinforced and drilled for a APR GTC-200 wing
2. Tire tail with 4 15x7.5 SSR Comps and 225/45/15 hoosier biasply tires
3. Garage Vary front lip
4. Robbins cloth top (probably with a hole in it now)
5. custom Willwood front brakes with 13" rotors (bigger caliper than the dynolite everyone else runs)
6. on the car were 4 white 16x7 buddy club wheels with Toyo T1-Rs
7. a little driver door damage on the edge where Moti backed it into a wall with the goor open.
8. rear bumper skin had round vent holes cut into it.
9. Hard Dog Hard Core Double Diagonal
10. Interior had all Autometer Nexus Gauges mounted into a custom piece of carbon fiber mounted in the stock gauge cluster behind the steering wheel.
It had tons of other stuff on the car which I don't really want to list here as the thief may be reading and want to know what to strip before they "give" me back the Hull.
But here are some items that are a little more rare:
1. KW suspensions compression and rebound adjustable coilovers with external reserviors. These are ONE OF A KIND. They made them specifically for us, and no one else could have them.
2. Willwood front brake kit. Also one of a kind. Uses a larger caliper than the dynolite with a 13" 2 piece rotor.
3. FM turbokit with a T25. maybe rare with the turbo size?
4. AEM ECU for the miata. There are very few of these produced according to a contact at AEM. This one also has a VERY low serial #. (single digit I believe)
Tons of other stuff. it also had my Xlite Sparco driving suit, helmet, $2k in tools, racing shoes and gloves, race jack, etc in it.
Anyone with leads to the thief and my stuff will be rewarded. With parts, magazine coverage for your car, or something else that may be interesting to you. If I can get a picture from the security cameras at the Luxor, I will post it, as well as publish it in the magazine. Not that it matters, but this car only had collision insurance, as I didn't want full coverage on a track car because I knew insurance wouldn't cover where I would probably wreck it. I didn't really think about theft...
Any help would be appreciated.

Holy shyte, that's one expensive car! Chances of recovering the car decreases dramatically after 24 hours. Chances are that this Miata's already parted and shipped out. Hope it's just some joyriding punks so most the car could be recovered.
