I drove next to a Silverstone 350Z today on Town Center going from Sahara to Charleston. I drove next to him for a while, but he wouldn't look over, then when we came to the red light at Charleston, he wouldn't pull up next to me, so I couldn't talk to him. It looked stock except for a mesh grille. He was listening to 2-Pac. Was this anybody on here?

 

In addition to my LeMans Sunset, there are a Daytona Blue, Pikes Peak White and Ultra Yellow in the parking lot at work. I tracked down all the owners. None of them had any interest in hooking up with a 350Z group. I will try again when we get the new club more established and some events planned

 

Some Z owners are just stuck up

 

I saw two roadsters the other day. Both Pikes Peak White, one with chrome 20" rims, one stock. I saw them both at the Chevron station on Charleston and Town Center Saturday night at different times. Once again, niether of them gave me a second look. I wish people knew more about the cars they drove. These are probably some of the guys who would pull up next to an old 280Z and have no idea that that is the 350Zs great grandpa. Oh well...

 

Out of mabey 20 or so diff Z's, in the 2 months we had our Z, only 3 gave a wave, honk or a nod. 2 LS's both had temp tags, one was just coming out of desert nissan's lot and a CS with cali plates near the strip. Most of the time we see mostly older middle aged people, mainly women. who dont give a second glance, hubby said some dont even look like they enjoy their z, which I would agree, some of them look really uptight or like speedster said 'stuck up'

 

Its a shame. By the way, is your dog wearing a coat?

LOL Pampered?? what? you think a coat, shoes, shirts,organic snacks and a big screen tv, is pampering? He also has a beagle brother to play with, so what? and rides in a Z, again so? pamered? Nah...I dont see it :P

I spotted Sam (vegas_speedster) driving down Russell near Maryland Pkwy at around 3:45pm. He had his hatch wide open with a big box that said "Injen" sticking out. Exhaust maybe? I was in a red F-150 going the opposite direction.

I'll see you tomorrow. I went to the SCCA thing yesterday but some guy with a water truck was wetting down the mud so I turned around. I just Z5 and Z2ed my car.

Saw a yellow roadster today turning onto the 215 at Russell. It had chrome 19s or 20s. Anybody here?

 

I saw a white one today with 1 BAD Z as a vanity plate.

 

I saw a White Z today it got onto the 95 north from Lake Mead?? Then exited Durango... Its got a spoiler and chromed rims... and a good lookin girl with a radar detector on the inside... Its funny, Cuz I heard about her yesterday, then today I saw her.

 

I see some Zs once in a while, but you all are right: most of these drivers don't even look at you, let alone acknowledge you.

 

I had some good finds today! I took my dad's truck to the Red Rock Scenic Loop for some off roading, and I saw four 350Zs in the process. The first one was a CS from Florida that was parked in the dirt, Then I saw a DB Z a few cars ahead of me on the way out of the loop, but I couldn't catch up. Then came the good ones...I saw what I think was a SB 35th Anniversary. The wheels looked like the 35th Anniversary wheels and it had temporary tags on it. It was going the other way through Red Rock Canyon. And last but not least, I spotted a SS with black rims going the other way on the 215 on the way home.

 

This morning on 215 Northbound around 7:15 I spotted a nice Super Black Z with a billet grille. He turned off on Tropicana. I didn't pay much attention to it until I noticed he had replaced his Nissan logos with the big Z logos. Not sure about the wheels, but the tires looked stock size.

 

Today I drove next to a girl in a Silverstone 350 with aftermarket chrome 18" wheels. I drove next to her for literally 30 seconds and she didn't look over. I also spotted Rob's Z parked at his work.

 

I spotted like.... I think around 70 Z's today, I see them all everyday!!

Saw a Blonde driving a DB yesterday. Aftermarket wheels and a Nismo wing. She was headed north on Las Vegas blvd near Silverado Ranch.

 

Saw a PPW Roadster today going West on I-215 just after Town Center. It had a Nismo wing and chrome 20" wheels.
