stillen and nismo parts available...

so i was going through the inventory nobody ever touches anymore, and found a whole bunch of nismo and stillen parts... mostly stillen. so if anyone needs anything... headers, s tune suspension, adjustable sways, front stb, x drilled rotors, or what not, pm me or post up and i'll see what kind of deal we can work out so we can clear up some space. most stuff i have is for 350z/g35 or sentras... but i can get my hands on other stuff too if you are interested.

So uhhh... what would the stage 2 cost out the door labor included? The time may be approaching.

Jimbo - Order one to sell in the parts dept. Don't really sell it though. After a couple of months start saying how nobody has even looked into buying it, then I can come in and take it for a rediculously low price.

I have done suspension swaps on the Z countless times, don't spend money on labor. Just organize a tech session.

There shouldn't be a difference for the Z on the UR crank pulley.

^^^No worries. A tech session is when we all get together and help work on eachothers cars. The good thing about this club is that there are no positions like president or anything so you can organize any event you want. If you want to do a tech session. Just post up here and let people know when you are planning on doing it. You will usually have at least a couple of guys show up. You can also organize group drives, photo shoots, dyno days, etc...

Hey Jimbo, I got a quote from performance Nissan for the Stillen SC at $5870 for the kit with the CF hood plus $1050 labor. I'd still have to get the hood painted though. He also said that the warranty was $260, but I think that he left a 1 off of the front of that number.

Is that about right?

Why would you get the more expensive CF hood if you are just going to paint it. It doesn't weigh any less than the OEM hood. At least not on the Z. Your hood is aluminum isn't it?

Well, you have to replace the hood anyways and I don't really like fiberglass in general. Plus I want to keep the stock hood intact in case I ever return it to stock.

No no no. I wouldn't touch the stock hood either. I was just making a point that the carbon fiber is no lighter than the stock aluminum. If you get the CF, get it painted so you can still see the pattern so it looks like white CF.

Gotcha, yeah I'll definitely get it painted I guess that they could just go over it with a light base coat then the pearl to make it look like white carbon fiber, but then again I don't know if they will have to use some kind of special primer for the CF. I'll look into it.

I have the Stillen CF hood and was told from a body shop that all they do is put a tint in the clear coat to get that effect.
