Weekly Meet 11-28 (Tomorrow): North side of town this week :)
Who: Anybody with a Z or a G35.
What: Dinner & Car Talk
When: Tuesday November 28th, 7:30pm
Where: Ruby Tuesdays in the Revere Marketplace Shopping Center. Craig Rd. Just East of MLK, by the Home Depot.
This first weekly meet will also be an informal meeting about the future of this club. A lot of decisions will be made for the club including the website, forums, club name, events, etc. The more opinions we have the better, so please try and show up. If it is just me, eating by myself, then I will be the only one making the decisions, and I probably wont be in a good mood about the club lol.
If you are coming, please bring enough CASH for your meal and a few extra bucks for the tip. Lets get this club back off the ground!!!
Please put your name on this list if you are attending so I can make an accurate reservation...

No worries Ty, you are the only one in the club that consistently shows up to events from the beginning so this can be your get out of jail free card.

Sorry guys, I have prior commitments with family tonight that I couldn't change. Mike, please share what was discussed in the meet and maybe those who couldn’t attend can offer other suggestions if they are still needed.

Off the top of my head....
1. I see from old threads there was once a website. A website is an effective way to share photos of meets, photos of members cars, DIY, stories, etc... That can show the activity of the club and will help attract others to join or at least show those who want to join if this is for them… I can’t build a site but I can certainly help maintain it. What are our options for hosting?
2. Someone mentioned getting local sponsor to help fund events or maybe help support a website. We can certainly advertise for sponsors on a club website. Look at how much traffic My350Z and 350zmotoring gets... Custom sigs for each club member linking forum readers to the club website could increase club website traffic for sponsor advertising.
3. I see that taking ownership for event coordinating is a challenge. Maybe rotate members to coordinate events. One event a month, that’s only 12 events. I can certainly do one a year.
4. Real Life… everyone has one, so there will be times of low activity, it’s expected. If we pace ourselves and know what to expect out of the club there may not be the pressure that the club is doing that bad?
Anyway, that is a few of my thoughts. I know I’m new so I don’t have the experience of how things have been going, I only know what I’ve been able to read on the postings. But it appears you have a good core of members. Focus on what that core enjoys, setup up site to share those experiences and those with the same interest will follow… I hope this one makes sense.
Got to go… have a good meet!
