'81-'83 280zx Turbo to trade for a '75 Pontiac Firebird
Yes not exactly yet, but I have been doing some thinking on this. I have come to realize I have lost interest in restoring muscle cars. Don't get me wrong I have always loved them, since I was a kid. But I have also been heavily interested in the Z cars. So I want to focus my goals on those now.
I have a feeling the Firebird will never get finished. And I would want to trade her to somebody, that will pour their love and heart into her. So she can get the finishing restoration that she needs. It hurts me some to type this, and or think of doing this. But I think it is best for her. And it will help in getting my Turbo I have always wanted.
Anyway I wanted to start this thread, and keep it active. Not to long from now, I will clean her up, take some recent pics. Also I will explain in as much detail as I can. About the whole car, including engine tranny, and anything else. So people that are interested, will know more about her, and what I have done to her in almost 10 years.
So that is out there, for anybody that is interested. Like I said not quite yet. I need to get her going again, take some recent pics. (And yes she runs just fine, just need to prime her, and run her again.) And then I will explain what I have done to her, and anything else, you would have a question about.
I will tell you a few things about her for now.
1969 Buick Skylark 350 (5.7) rebuilt with just over 6k on the rebuild
It also has a rare set of Hooker Competition headers on it. Now no longer available new anywhere. And duel exhaust, but should be done better, never did fit right.
1977 Trans Am 350 Turbo-Hydromatic Tranny rebuilt with about 17k on the rebuild
1977 Trans Am posi-trac rear end, no idea on the miles. but good and strong
1977 Trans Am front sub-frame
1977 Trans Am interior beat up needs complete restoration.
Brand new Cragar SS Chrome steel wheels, with Bf-Goodrich T/A tires
235 60r 15's in front (8" wide)
195 50r 15's in the rear (10" wide)
There is much more, but I will disclose this later. Well that is all for now, you can post your interests or offers. But as of right now, I am not quite ready to do the trade. Because I am not prepared for it. I just thought of this last night. And wanted to test the waters. But yes my Firebird will be up for trade, when I am ready. That is all for now, and feel free to post your offers.

Okay well my baby is off the market right now. I just can't sell her, too much sentimental value to me. Unless somebody gave me enough money to get rid of her. I still have some plans for her down the road. Thanks though for viewing my thread. If anything changes, I will post it here.
