Hey Guys,

I'm interested in finding a 280 Turbo car for purchase for a complete swap into my S30. I'd prefer if the car was running and MUST have a manual transmission. I couldn't care less about the body, as a matter of fact I hope its rusted all to hell....rock on for a donor car.

Just let me know if anyone knows where one might be laying around!

If I don't find one soon I'm gonna do an LT1 swap lol......but I kinda wana keep her Jap.

lol, Honestly....at the current finding rate + impatience = overpaying for a decent 280ZXT.

So I'd be willing to have it shipped here if its not running....and its worth the price etc. Is it yours?

I've got a guy with the better part of a LT1 Swap with a Borg T56 6 speed & JTR mounts. I'd have to do some stuff with the wiring harness.....but like I said, I'm trying to talk my self out of it. I'm offering the guy to trade my 1968 GTO convertible for it lol....

 

take your time man!! I've bought 3 off craigslist ('71 240zt '74 2+2 and a '81 N/A (sold on craigs too) ) <- can you parenthesize in a parenthesized phrase? So yeah they're pretty undecent lowball swindlers but if your a better one then you can get some good deals!!

i have a turbo exhaust manifold and oil pan for grabs

 

and i have a '82 hydraulic head for grabs

 

I'll def keep those in mind if I end up going any route other than direct swappage....I live in the mountains and I know where a ton of muscle cars are.....hell I've owned a 68 GTO and 69 Chevelle.....but Z cars do not exist around here.

I've found like two prospects in North Carolina and a couple of Florida. Either way I'll have to drive forever to look at em.
