I need help finding a 240z in Texas, the closer to Austin the better.
Also I need it to be as cheap as possile, doesn't have to run.. doesn't even need to have an engine, but that would be nice if I could drive it home. I would like there to be as little rust as possible I don't want to spend to many days welding in replacement sheet metal. Paint and interrior I could care less about I plan on a complete restore. Would a 260Z do or must it be a 240Z?

What do you mean by cheap (do you have a price range or budget you're working with)?

When I say cheap I mean I am trying to stay as close to 1,000 as possible but less is always better. I am pretty much doing a complete restore from the ground up. If you have a early 70's 260z then it would probably work as well, thanks for the reply

280Z model years 1975-1978
280ZX model years 1979-1983


So the 260Z available would be a 1974 and it may end up being a little too much for ya...in running driving condition it would be $2000 however, I could probably do a little better with some concessions.
