Looking for a T-5 280ZX Tranny.

I'm looking to get a hold of a 5-speed T-5 tranny for my 280ZX. I'm also looking for the 2+2 driveshaft, essentially everything needed to swap my auto to a manual. PM me with any offers if anyone has any of this for sale.

Doesn't say if it's a 2seater or 2+2 tho.

I found one listed for a 4-seater. Id I'm not mistaken, didn't all 2+2's come with the T-5 tranny?

Nope... the turbo model was the only version w/ the Borg Warner T5.... and yes, you'll need the T5 driveline too, as the driveline splines are different.

Oh... FYI, the reverse switch connection is different too.... not a big deal, but you'll need to do a quick rewire job if you want to keep your reverse lights.

did you look in the for sale section?

The reverse switch is on the opposite side of the transmission so you'll have to wire in a 10" extension on the wires anyway. I made one that just plugs right in without cutting any of the original harness. it was EZ
