Hey, Matt, welcome to ZDriver! Download a freebie factory service manual from XenonZ31 Reference along with the other cool docs there. Would def like to see your Z pics.
To post photos, sign in, click Post Reply, write your reply, click on the little paper clip to the right of the smiley face just above the text box, locate (browse) your photos, click on them, they list, click Upload, click Close This Window, click Submit. Easy enough?
Our Z pros will have some good input for you. Meanwhile, do everyone a favor. Sign in, go to User CP menu (upper left), click Edit Signature and add your Z model, year, shifter, turbo or NA, etc. Saves you having to add it to every post. (Guys here go crazy if you don't lock your Q to your specific Z every time you post...They just ignore questions without enough info) Then click Edit Avatar and add a little Z pic under your nick. Cool. You are solid here.
Thanks and welcome again.

Nice looking Z! You bought a winner. Not sure why the fotos are 90-degrees - but still readable. Why not try to post them here (instructions above) and see if they post right or flip? Let's see if the bug is ZDriver's or yours...

Well funny thing is I didn't buy the car my dad gave it to me because he was tired of the car sitting around he bought it back in 2000 and his plan was to fix it and flip it but no one ever bought it so it set in the barn for 14 years and finally this year my dad signed the title over to me I love the car but I got a lot of work to do right now on it it gonna take me a little bit to get what needs work on

You have a great car there. The '86 Z31s are kinda miraculous. They run so perfectly when you get all the kinks out. Lots of mods available too. Your work will be catching up on all the regular maintenance that was not done on her. Could be a little, could be a lot. So just check her out and report any symptoms you are figuring out - and the guys here will help you out the best they can.
