Storage Compartment
Nissan, in their infinite wisdom, decided to do NOTHING with the empty space behind the driver's seat of Track models left void by the lack of a bass speaker... so all Track owners have wasted space there, unless they do a stereo upgrade and utilized that bass mount. I wish to convert that into another storage compartment, identical to the passengers side, however Nissan doesn't make parts to do this... so I am reserved to classified ads in search of someone who has either recently totalled their new 350Z, or who have other ideas for the storage area and no use for their originally installed storage compartment.
So, saying all that... I wonder, is there anyone out there who has a storage compartment/door, mounting box they are not using, or they want to rip out of their Z car for me?
If there is, I am most interested in acquiring said parts for my conversion project.
Many Thanks...

you can order the glove box door from Japan ... remember everything in this car is designed around left and right hand drive models..

sorry pal, but i already tried that through my dealer... they can get everything but the door without having to order the whole assembly piece that sits behind the seats.
don't ask me why, but Nissan should have put an extra storage box back there in the first place for all the track models.
thanks ne ways!
