Spotted A Z!
Alright, I Thought This Might Be Interesting, But It Might Not, So I'll Try It Out, If You Spot Any Z's On The Road, Put Down The License Plate, If You Can Safely, Without Crashing, Post The Number On The Thread And See If Whom Ever You Saw Is On Zdriver....ill Try It Out Because I See Z's All Over The Los Angeles Area.

^ I try so hard to ignore that stuff when I see it. Last thing I need is another Z car project in my driveway. It kills me to see them laying around neglected though. I wish I could save them all!
A friend of mines Aunt has a 260Z that she bought brand new. It was her baby. She kept it nice for many, many years. Over time the elements got the better of it so she and her husband had it completely restored. She only drove it a few times after that then she parked it behind the house... uncovered, in sunny Southern California. That was about 7 years ago. The car is a complete loss now. It is beyond salvation. Between the rust, the sun rot and the creatures that made it their home... It's a gonner. We tried to take it off her hands several years ago. we were willing to pay her handsomley for it before it was beyond help but she refused to let it go. Now it's a helpless heap of rusted metal, rotten plastic, rubber and vinyl, and it is doing its best to "return itself to the Earth". Such a shame.

Last weekend, I was heading down to the South Bay for an AutoX event, really early in the morning. One of the first things I see as soon as I get on the freeway is another 280ZX on the side of the road...with its rear end partially caved in. I couldn't help but think that was an awfully ominous thing to see as I headed out...

I spotted a Z on the way to a downtown club, but not in the condition I wanted to see it. Traffic built up just as I was about to exit the 163 freeway into downtown and there were a number police cars and an ambulance present. I look over to the center divide and what do I see? A smashed up green 240z, looked to be in great shape prior to the crash as the paint was shiny and it had a few custom modifications done to it. I hope the owner/occupants are okay because the damage looked pretty bad on the front end of that Z.

If you see on don't put down the whole licanse cause you never know who might be trolling for identity theft and such. I know I would not want my whole one on there. Now if its a custom plate that might be a different story.
