Second Annual Skyline Dr. Cruise
Ok guys and and girls
MEET: 10:30 AM Sunday OCTOBER 19th, 2008
We will meet in the Target parking lot in Front Royal, VA
10 Crooked Run Plz
Front Royal, VA 22630
Enter the North Gate of Skyline Drive in Front Royal, VA (pay $15 Entrance Fee) and proceed 5 miles to the Dickey Ridge Visitor Center.
From there we will drive and pause to take pics along the way.
While Skyline Drive is a 105 mile (169 km) road that runs the entire length of the Shenandoah National Park in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. Construction on the road began in 1931 and was completed in 1939. Since then it has been treating visitors to spectacular views of the Appalachian Mountains. I believe we should hop off at the Swift Run Gap exit and drive into
Harrisonburg for a late lunch/snack and or chat.
From there it is either a quick run up I81 and home or running out 33 West for some very spirited driving. Have played there a couple times and is a great little run. Pop up 220 and then 55 back into Strasburg Va. Or a couple of other possible other locations to play.
I am tryin to find a friend that is willing to run up front and take pics for us as we pass and play.
Any question please let us know at www.SVZA.net
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND WWW.SVZA.NET will be holding our second annual Skyline Dr. Cruise

this sounds awesome. all Z's? this is actually close to me. a one day event? seems kinda dangerous though. wanting to look all around makes it easy to not see the brake lights ahead of you. last time i was up there i saw a bear running across the road. it was awesome.
